Jacobs is currently seeking a Course Exam Proctor in Pensacola, FL to monitor high-stakes exams to ensure exam and student integrity. The Jacobs Course Exam Proctor will be part of a collaborative multidisciplinary Team delivering highly sophisticated, technical, hands-on training solutions to meet the mission and time-critical needs of our customers.

The Jacobs Course Exam Proctor monitors test rooms during the administration of high-stakes examinations. The Course Exam Proctor enforces time limits and compliance with other examination procedures. The Course Exam Proctor explains and answers questions concerning examination procedures and related matters. The Course Exam Proctor also reports rule violations and/or unusual occurrences during examinations. The Course Exam Proctor prepares Proctor's report. The Course Exam Proctor notifies appropriate personnel when test equipment malfunctions occur. The Course Exam Proctor may serve as a receptionist at performance tests and interviews. The Course Exam Proctor provides first-line, non-technical support for web-based training courses. The Course Exam Proctor assists students with any questions or issues they may have and is a liaison between the students and the Course Instructors. The Course Exam Proctor creates daily, weekly, monthly, and on the spot reports. The Course Exam Proctor may address student concerns, track student progress, analyze student data, and update and maintain course-related documentation. This Course Exam Proctor may provide Instructional Systems Design (ISD) type support for maintaining and improving web-based cyber training.

Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line non-technical support for students attending locally and at remote sites
  • Proctor high-stakes exams to ensure exam and student integrity
  • Monitor student progress – document, track, analyze data, and create reports for the customer
  • Maintain detailed administrative records of student data
  • Enforces time limits and compliance with other examination procedures
  • Reports rule violations and/or unusual occurrences during examinations
  • Prepares proctor's report
  • Notifies appropriate personnel when test equipment malfunctions occur
  • Develop and review course material using ISD best practices
  • Collaborate with Facilitators, Testing Specialists, Content Developers, Infrastructure Support, and other team members as applicable to ensure accuracy of learning content, to update course content, and to address student-specific issues

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, English, Communications, or a directly related field plus. In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an additional 4 years of work experience (for a total of six (6) years of experience can be substituted for the degree requirement.

Relevant Work Experience: Minimum two years of work experience related to designing, developing, and/or supporting/delivering training various types of training.

A qualified candidate must possess excellent speaking and writing skills. A qualified candidate must be able to effectively collaborate with other members of the team and prioritize tasks under strict deadlines.
