Local Links Market Cafe is a small business in Haddon Heights, NJ. We are social, customer-centric, collaborative and our goal is to Local links Market Café is an upbeat fast paced casual dining establishment. It’s our 9th year and we are looking for part and full time applicants who are in turn looking to expand with our team. The level of experience may vary based on the position. Counter/prep/Clean: Experience helpful but not necessary ; Dishwasher/Clean: Experience helpful but not necessary. Our food is locally sourced locally produced made in house. We serve a variety of fare including smoked meat, vegan, gluten free, and health conscious options. We emphasize heavily on being clean, courteous, friendly and tidy. We are a 20 seat open kitchen all day cafe, so it’s front and center always which promotes a positive vibe for staff and patron. Full and time positions are available.

We are seeking an outgoing and motivated individual to join our team as a Counter Person. The Counter Person is responsible for maintaining the appearance of the store by keeping the counter and case fronts stocked, working as a team in the kitchen, wiping down tables, engaging customers, and assembling order. This position requires strong customer service skills, and the individual hired will be responsible for accurately ringing up purchases and operating registers. We're hiring for a position that requires quick thinking with a focus on accuracy.

Responsibilities:

• Keep the restaurant clean and tidy.
• Have a good memory of orders and ingredients.
• Use good judgment when dealing with customers.
• Handle cash and credit cards appropriately.
• Answer questions about products.
• Work as a team member.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
