Job description

We are looking for a Estimator to join the team. This person should be an organized and a highly motivated individual that can professionally communicate with our clients and work well within our team. This individual will also need to have the ability to review ITBs and accurately put together estimates and proposals based on the information provided in the RFQ.

Skills required:

• Skills required:The ability to perform material and labor take off for multiple disciplines, civil, structural, piping and equipment and combine these disciplines in a summary format.

Experience in estimating a plus
Experience in overseeing the proposal assembly process to ensure the proposal is reflective of the estimate summary and that all deliverables have been included in the proposal, prior to submission to the client.
Proficient in excel, word and estimating software.
Proficient in reading and deciphering drawings including plans, orthographic, isometrics and 3D Models
Understanding job specifications in regards to material types, testing requirements etc.…
Writing and managing RFI’s
Writing clarifications and assisting with assembling proposals

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

• Baton Rouge, LA 70816: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
