Job Summary

Our Corporate Recruiter will be responsible for coordinating and organizing the recruitment strategies and activities for the department. Manages the recruitment process in its entirety, from job requisition to onboarding. Collaborates with the leadership team to establish goals, objectives, and hiring priorities. Cultivates and maintains relationships to source candidates. Evaluates employment applications, screen, and interview candidates, and provide employment recommendations. Assures compliance with regulatory requirements. Has in-depth experience, knowledge, and skills in own discipline. Usually determines own work priorities. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Building positive relationships and responding to the needs of applicants/candidates, team members, and hiring managers.
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
  • Updates job posting and advertisement processes.
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
  • Schedules interviews; oversees the preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Completes orientation
  • Oversees new hiring onboarding experience
  • Performs other duties assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal, listening, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, enthusiastically, creatively, and with limited direction while meeting commitments with high-quality standards
  • Proven effective planning and organization skills to work in a fast-paced environment and serve the needs of multiple customers and candidates concurrently
  • Willingness to learn and achieve proficiency with new technology tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, required.
  • 2-3 years experience in full lifecycle recruiting in a corporate and/or corporate agency setting, required
  • Experience with Paychex or other ATS platforms, is required.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must pass a background check.
