What you will do:

The Business Development and Integration Analyst will support the entire Mergers and Acquisitions Process from strategic planning to integration execution. The Analyst will work closely with all departments, particularly divisional Business Development leaders, finance, and marketing teams to create strategic plans, financial models, and PowerPoint presentations to outline the thesis of potential acquisition opportunities to senior Stryker leadership. The Analyst will also work closely with integration leaders to develop and execute integration plans including integration status reporting and process development post-acquisition.

ability to influence Stryker’s future strategic direction. This role requires someone who is highly motivated combining exceptional quantitative skills, strategic thinking ability, communication skills, and project management and execution.

  • Partner with divisional and business unit stakeholders as well as senior management to evaluate Mergers and Acquisition opportunities to expand our presence in core, adjacent, and new markets from initial concept to analysis to recommendation.
  • Build and take ownership of detailed valuation analyses including multi-scenario discounted cash flow models and various other financial impact analyses.
  • Support due diligence deal teams including Division-based business leaders (e.g. Sales, Marketing), functional leaders (e.g. Finance, HR), and outside experts (e.g. investment banks, consulting firms).
  • Track and report key industry events, transactions, and trends to help inform and guide Business Development activities.
  • Lead the process for the collection, measurement and reporting of data related to integration metrics including partnering with integration leads on quarterly integration dashboard, enhancing current integration Power BI tools.
  • Partner with the Integration teams to support integration workbook functionality and create Integration Management Office reporting dashboards for project teams.
  • Drive our integration lessons learned process and investigate new project management tools to increase efficiency and reporting.

What you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution required.
  • Experience in related investment banking / management consulting / corporate finance / marketing position(s) or relevant experience preferred.
  • Experience in business/corporate development preferred.
  • Power BI experience preferred.
  • Financial intelligence software (CapitalIQ, Bloomberg, or similar) proficiency preferred.
  • Superior analytical skills, specific experience with valuation modeling, strategic planning, and market sizing and trend analyses.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate (written and orally), present, and liaise with all levels of an organization.
