Overview:
Are you looking to join a premier team at a leading AmLaw100 firm? Nelson Mullins is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Emerging Companies and Venture Capital team in New York.
A Day in the Life:
You will be joining an approximately 50 person team of attorneys who consistently score top rankings in Global League Tables for representation of fast-growing venture-backed technology and life sciences companies and the funds that invest in them. The team is largely based in Atlanta, Miami and New York City, but has a global practice. This search is focused on recruiting additional New York City lawyers. We Know You:
Candidates should possess three to ten years of meaningful corporate transactional experience in a law firm setting; venture capital experience is preferred but not required. You are knowledgeable in the areas of corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, securities, and general corporate matters. With strong writing, analytical, and communications skills, you have excelled academically. You are a member of the New York bar.


Pursuant to the salary transparency provisions of the New York City Human Rights Law (NYCHRL), please find the compensation range specific to this role if based in New York.

  • New York City pay range for this role, with final offer amount depending on experience, is between $230,000 and $295,000.
