Position: Accounts Payable Specialist

• 
  OBJECTIVE (POSTION SUMMARY)

Accounts Payable specialist at Radiant World Trade Services, will be performing accounting and administrative functions related to the efficient processing and maintenance of Accounts Payable transactions for both domestic and international vendors. Thinking both independently and within a dynamic, supportive team. Attention to detail and ability to effectively handle a high-volume work environment.

• JOB RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:

• Accounts Payable Specialist manages accounts payable using accounting software and other programs.
• Entering invoices and credits into software applications and databases accurately.
• Handling accounts payable for separate entities.
• Establishing and maintaining relationship with new and existing vendors.
• Preparing and processing checks, ACH/Wires payment in a timely and accurate manner.
• Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling accounts.
• Communicate findings to managers to finalize Month-End report to meet strict deadlines.
• Control expenses by receiving, processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices on a scheduled basis.
• Accounts Payable Specialist audit and process Intercompany invoices.
• Process monthly accruals.
• Monitoring new address changes.
• Address and respond to vendor inquiries and employee requests.
• Other duties as assigned.

• QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• 2 or more years of Accounts Payable experience.

• 2-year degree or certificate in accounting, finance, or business
• Comfort using computers and technological software.
• Proficient in excel.
• Accounts Payable Specialist will need the ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication skills (talking, speaking on the phone, emailing).
