Location: Schenectady, New York

This is a hybrid role between our office in downtown Schenectady and WFH.

We are seeking a creative and talented Copywriter to join our digital marketing agency. The Copywriter will be responsible for crafting compelling content for B2B across a range of digital platforms, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and digital ads. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop creative, engaging, and effective copy for various digital marketing campaigns and platforms
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other team members to ensure messaging and branding consistency
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry trends to ensure content remains relevant and effective
• Optimize copy for search engine optimization (SEO) and other digital marketing strategies
• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines
• Continuously test and refine copy to improve performance and achieve desired results
• Monitor and analyze campaign performance and adjust copy accordingly
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to deadlines

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of experience in B2B copywriting, preferably within a digital marketing agency setting
• Proven track record of creating engaging and effective written content for a variety of digital marketing channels
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a strong attention to detail
• Deep understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to create content that ranks well in search engines
• Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Moz)
• Strong research skills and the ability to quickly grasp complex industry concepts and translate them into clear, concise copy
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and clients
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a portfolio demonstrating successful campaigns and projects
• Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices
• Familiarity with social media platforms and their respective audiences
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Passion for digital marketing and staying up-to-date with industry trends and innovations

Salary: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
