COORDINATOR, Strategic Event Management
LOCATION: Dallas, TX - Hybrid

Primary Duties:

  • Serve in a support role to event manager on an array of events ranging from fully in-person, virtual or a hybrid model
  • Work with department technologies and tools, virtual event platforms, registration platforms, exhibit floor module and event mobile apps, etc.
  • Manage VIP rooming lists, requirements, hospitality services
  • Assist with exhibit management and customer service
  • Maintain department files and historical event documentation.
  • Coordinate department functions such as event supplies, shipping, event cancellation insurance, etc.
  • Actively participate in monthly client meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Entry level, 1-2 years of experience or college grad with hospitality degree
  • Experience with Cvent registration and mobile apps preferred
  • Experience with a2z or other exhibit management tool a plus
  • Strong customer service skills, delivery of VIP-level service
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to interact in a firm but highly collaborative fashion
  • Solutions-oriented, creative problem solver and able to work both independently and in a team setting.
  • Must have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced, dynamically changing environment.
  • Team player with a strong customer service focus
  • Eager to learn with a desire for career growth in the events industry
  • Domestic Travel: 20% with brief 3-4-day blocks of time
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
