SUMMARY OF POSITION :

The primary purpose of Treasury Assistant position is to ensure all payments received by each Penn State Health entity are deposited accurately into the appropriate financial institution and related account, batched and reconciled in our internal system, and communicated to appropriate departments. Treasury Assistant I employees are beginning level employees. They have a basic understanding of Treasury’s processes through education and previous experience (for example in banking). They are able to apply basic skills needed to process payments while developing some specialized ones following our previously established procedures. They perform mostly routine and repetitive tasks with limited decision making, under close supervision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

Associate Degree or equivalent experience (2 years)

One (1) year of experience required

Prior banking, cash handling and balancing experience
