Summary:
The Cook prepares hot foods for patients, residents, cafeteria visitors, and Adult Day Health participants utilizing HACCP standards, standardized recipes, and appropriate dietary restrictions and following regulatory agency standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares all hot and cold food for all service areas according to appropriate menus using standardized, approved recipes.
- PAckages and stores prepared meals and ingredients according to foodservice safety standards.
- Organizes, cleans and sanitizes work area for effective, safe use.
- Produces food with a minimum of waste of resources, including time or ingredients.

Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two (2) years of experience working in a commercial food preparation setting
- Experience working in a a cafeteria or other institutional foodservice setting
