The role: As a cook, you will support seniors to live life fully by preparing healthy, delicious meals. Your duties include food prep, cooking all menu items according to standardized recipes, serving, stocking, and clean up after meals. This position is responsible for safe food handling and preparing food to meet the therapeutic needs of the residents.
Pay rate dependent on position, shift, certifications, and experience, ranging from $16.00 - $17.50/hr. Hiring immediately!

Our senior home has extensive COVID-19 precautions are designed to keep our employees and clients safe. New Communities Inc. is following all CDC and State of Maine guidelines for healthcare workers regarding COVID-19, including the requirement of the COVID vaccination for all employees. During an interview, we will discuss what we're doing to safeguard our teams.
Full-time position available. Schedule: 11a-7p with every other weekend.
Requirements:- One year of experience in a food service setting and experience working with seniors is preferred, but not required.
- Must be 18 years of age or over.
- High school diploma/GED preferred, but not required.
