Full-Time:$14 - $17 per hour:

The primary purpose of your job position is to prepare food in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations and as may be directed by the Dietitian and or Food Service Manager, to assure that quality food service is provided at all times. Review menus prior to preparation of food and prepare meals in accordance with planned menus. Prepare and serve meals that are palatable and appetizing in appearance. Assure meals are served on a timely basis. Prepare food in accordance with standardized recipes, special diet orders, and planned menus. Work with the dietitian as necessary and new diets as received. When necessary, instruct/direct dietary personnel as necessary to assure quality food service is provided.
CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Interact with our patients, residents, families, and other staff (customers) to provide enthusiastic, timely responses to inquiries, concerns, and/or needs related to care and service.
Policies and Procedures:
Assist in the interpretation of department policies and procedures as necessary. As instructed, assure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
Experience:
Previous experience working as a cook in an institutional or restaurant setting required.
Physical:
Must be able to lift, push, pull and move equipment, supplies, etc. in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
