General Statement of Responsibilities:

The Administrator of Our Lady of Angels Convent Complex (OLA Complex) is responsible for specific functions that assist with the transitional movement of Neumann University to the OLA Complex as time unfolds. The Administrator oversees the functions of food services, main receptionist area, Red Hill Farm, environmental services, the chapel, and other duties that pertain to the facilities of OLA Complex. This part-time position will require a work schedule of 25-30 hours per week. Working in collaboration with the department directors and managers, the Administrator seeks to provide a hospitable environment for residents, employees, and guests in accordance with the mission and values of the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia.

Essential Functions:

· Fosters a hospitable and aesthetically pleasing environment for residents, employees and guests.

· Oversees and coordinates transitional functions related to use of space at the OLA Complex by the Sisters of St. Francis and Neumann University.

· Regularly oversees OLA Complex properties and makes recommendations to maintain repairs, cleanliness, safety, and new purchases.

· Provides opportunities for skill development and professional growth for departments under the oversight of the Administrator.

· Maximizes the potential of directors/managers by using a collaborative, motivational, and supportive style of management.

· Collaborates with the OLA Coordinators and the Administrator of Assisi House as appropriate.

· Prepares the administrative annual budget in collaboration with the Finance Department and the directors/managers.

· Serves on committees that relate to the Administrator’s position.

· Networks with Neumann University as necessary.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Commitment to the values and mission of the Sisters of St. Francis of Philadelphia.

· Leadership ability, tact, integrity, compassion, and sound judgement.

· Familiarity with the concepts and practices of personnel management.

· Ability to collaborate with the Finance Department in developing and implementing fiscal budgets.

· Ability to work collaboratively to attain goals.

· Ability to make decisions based on ecologically sound principles.

· Good oral and written communication skills.

· Computer literacy (Microsoft Word & Excel)

· Bachelor’s degree with equivalent professional experience.

· Five years of experience in administration, inclusive of prior roles encompassing facilities oversight and staff supervision.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
