Job description

Perfumes 4U, a perfume retailer with 57 stores in the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico is looking for an experienced Controller to oversee all financial aspects of the business.

The ideal candidate must be a CPA, have experience managing an accounting department for a retail chain, have 7+ years of experience, and must be fluent in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

· Multi State, City and Municipality Sales and Use Tax

· Work as a liaison between internal and external users of company financials (suppliers, banks, auditing officials, etc.) as well as government officials and the IRS.

· In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws, and best practices

· Proficient in the use of MS Office (especially Excel)

· Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Cloud Based preferably)

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or relevant field: MS/MA is a plus
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Retail and Multi-State Experience preferred
• CPA
