PMG is an industry leader in the production and distribution of pavement preservation and maintenance products. JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

The Controller position is based in our Tampa, FL location. In this position, you will work closely with the accounting team and the local plant team and will be exposed to multiple areas of our accounting and finance functions.

• Financial Reporting- Ensure financial statements are accurate and reflect the results for the region.
• Responsible for the Financial transaction accuracy and report timely.
• Cash management, ensure daily reconciliation of cash is reported.
• Responsible for accounts receivable, making credit decisions, handle AR collects, set up new customers.
• Process all Accounts Payable generate weekly payment proposal.
• Maintain fixed asset register, properly record additions/disposals.
• Review and approve timecard and payroll registers.
• Assist HQ with the annual financial audit, sales tax audits, etc.
• Provide support to employees on systems.
• Support inventory and cycle counting reporting for accuracy.
• Assist sales team with setting prices, protecting margins.
• Issue sales reports and review regularly with sales.
• Issue operations reports and review regularly with operations.
• Assist with other areas of accounting and finance functions as needed.
• Implement process improvements.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Some travel required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Must have working knowledge of Excel
• Must be a hard-worker and willing to do whatever is assigned
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Strong leadership and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be willing to complete an Accounting related case study during the interview process

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
