Established restaurant group is looking for an experienced Controller to manage all aspects of the group’s growing 40+ restaurant financial operations. Ideal candidate will be detail oriented, dependable and structured. Experience in the restaurant/hospitality industry is a must, as is a proven track record in managing multiple entities while overseeing and running individual financials.

This role includes but not limited to: general accounting, accounts receivable/payable, contract/lease compliance, budgeting, audit support, quarterly analysis/reporting, and monthly reconciliations. Ideal candidate must be highly proficient in QuickBooks and online QuickBooks.

Day-to-Day Finance Functions:

• Oversee key high-level financial operations (revenue, expenses, budgeting, forecasting, etc.)
• Perform daily routine accounting processes such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Recording Payroll, Cash Management, and Recording Journal Entries.
• Review weekly/monthly/quarterly financial performance reports and provide insight on risks and opportunities.
• Continually evaluate and provide insight on food and labor cost for multiple locations.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of cash receipts and credit card batches for multiple locations.
• Ensure accurate and timely invoicing and payments of billed clients (Accounts Receivable).
• Develop and maintain budgets, projections & forecasts for upcoming locations and monitor performances weekly, monthly and by period.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree from accredited 4-year university in Finance, Accounting, or Business Management required.
• 3 - 5+ years of experience in Finance and/or related field with proven track record.
• Strong technical skills and experience with QuickBooks, Excel, Gmail, Google Sheets, etc.
• Strong relationship management, verbal and written communication, and strategic thinking & analytical skills required.
• Ability to see the big picture, while possessing strong analytical/technical skills.
