· Minimum of three (3) years accounting experience in accounting/bookkeeping/report writing and financial analysis preferred
· Recent experience in the hospital field.
· Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
· Computer experience required (Microsoft Excel)
· Supervisory experience preferred
Job Summary: The Controller is responsible for the direct supervision of the accounting department, supervising accounts payable, payroll, general ledger activity, monthly reporting to executive management, budgeting, tax filings, and production of the monthly financial statements.
The Controller will also implement and maintain policies and procedures to make the close, reporting process, internal controls, and audit more efficient while mitigating risk and enhancing the accuracy of the Hospital’s financial results in compliance with GAAP.
