DESCRIPTION

TES is searching for a Contract Administrator to provide analytical and administrative support. As a central first point of contact and source of information, this position will provide professional, proactive, and helpful customer service, and will provide consultative services to department administrators, researchers, and other stakeholders. This position will also support new research initiatives, new processes, and changing systems/programs.

Job Duties:

  • Website and central phone line management.

  • Manage central email inbox, and list-serv.

  • Contract triage and intake.

  • Contract negotiation support (e.g. communicate with stakeholders, document compliance approvals, perform status-updates etc).

  • System data entry, data clean-up, and reporting.

  • Entering, amending, and maintaining records in the contract and grant system.

  • Creating and maintaining standard operating procedures and best practice guidelines.

  • Other administrative duties may include scheduling and coordinating meetings and events, providing or facilitating training, assisting with event planning, and other administrative or analytical support as needed and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Solid communication skills and ability to communicate professionally and effectively with a diverse population of all levels of organization in person, over the phone and in writing.

  • Ability to work in an interactive environment and possess excellent customer service skills both in person, over the phone, and via email.

  • Experience with contracts (triage, intake, approvals, etc).

  • Experience with data entry, data clean-up, and reporting.

  • Record management experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Event scheduling and coordination experience.

  • Experience with providing and facilitating training.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS

A background check is required.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $43,900 - $91,900 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $21.02 - $44.01

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
