The Elite Companies serviced include Elite Landscape Construction, EMTS, Elite Private Landscape, Stockbridge General Contracting, Live Action General Engineering, SRVC, Lokes Rental Equipment, and Stock Five Holdings. We're currently looking for an Elite Contract Administrator to join our amazing team in Clovis, CA.

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY

The Contract Administrator is responsible for assisting the Head of Compliance with contracts, insurance, and other compliance duties relating to the Construction Industry

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • General knowledge of landscape construction operations
  • Effective listening skills and ability to understand expectations of tasks to be performed
  • A positive attitude when faced with challenges
  • Work in an organized and proactive manner
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel
  • Work cooperatively and collaboratively both, independently and as part of a team (team oriented)
  • Effective and professional communication skills; verbal and written
  • Detail oriented, able to multi-task and be flexible
  • Valid CA Driver's license

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

At least a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required with a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the construction industry and/or a related field.

  • Insurance Application and Renewal:
    • Assist in process with required documentation
    • Reviewing of policies for errors
  • Request Certificates of Insurance
  • Coordinate signatures for vehicle contracts
  • Request to add to Insurance/Auto ID Card(s)
  • Other Duties as assigned

  • Administrative
  • File & Track Licenses, specifically CSLB and City/County Business Licenses
  • Manage subcontracts and coordination
  • Coordinate and manage awarded contracts
  • Review contract(s) with appropriate General Manager’s
  • Apply attorney markups to contract(s)
  • Negotiate terms
  • Request insurance, bonds, and licenses
  • Coordinate signatures
  • Communicate contract requirements
  • Issue Letter of Intent (LOI)’s and subcontracts
  • Request documentation from subcontractors
  • Coordinating negotiations amongst Elite & subcontractors
  • Coordinate the documentation, approval, and coding, as needed, of invoices
    • In direct relation to bonds, insurance, and IT
  • Process Bonds:
    • Payment & Performance Bonds
    • Miscellaneous Bonds
  • Enroll in Owner/Contractor Controlled Insurance Programs, otherwise known as OCIP/CCIP
  • File prelims for each contract
  • Provide preliminary information to subcontractors and suppliers
  • Notary Services, as requested
  • Other Duties as assigned

  • Request for Proposal (RFP)/Prequalification(s)
  • Prepare RFP/Bid Packages
  • Process bid bonds
  • Coordinate General Contractor Prequalification(s)
    • Non-Disclosure Agreement’s (NDA)
    • Create project references
  • Other duties as assigned
