Position Overview:

The Web content management specialist is responsible for maintaining web site content for Global Atlantic's various web properties. Work as part of a Digital Solutions team within Marketing to ensure web content is up to date, accurate, and correctly displaying. This role also works closely with UI/UX Designers and writers to maintain and adhere to content standards for new and existing web properties. This role has responsibilities across all web platforms and sites to manage content and digital assets to help support and evolve our digital presence.

Responsibilities:

  • Post, edit and maintain content and pages across the company's web properties updating existing content
  • Coordinate web updates across multiple business lines and platforms
  • Partner with content and editorial teams to maintain marketing content across sites to ensure content is accurately represented online
  • Serve as primary point of contact for web intake, including preliminary fact-finding to determine scope of client requests and need for escalation.
  • Support content personalization efforts to deliver the right content at the right time to a given audience
  • Collaborate with designers, user experience experts, content strategists, and client stakeholders to support the revision of existing pages and the creation of new web content
  • Conduct quality assurance tests on content pre- and post-publish, fix errors in published content, and test new site changes and features.
  • Partner with content and editorial teams to deliver content based on an editorial calendar
  • Track and route internal and external work requests/projects using the Team standard process/tools.
  • Work within digital solutions team to help develop documentation and governance regarding intake and content management process
  • Help support the management of digital assets through a Digital Asset Management system (DAM)
  • Use knowledge of SEO and content development to create digital content that helps search engine rankings
  • Assist with site-wide strategic projects, as necessary

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Experience in working within a CMS to manage content and web pages (Drupal and Site Studio a plus)
  • Familiarity with websites and webpage design, development and management.
  • Understanding and familiarity with web technologies such as HTML and CSS to make minor coding changes
  • Knowledge of visual web design best practices
  • Excellent ability to organize information and manage tasks – experience with project collaboration tools a plus (Microsoft Teams, Jira, Miro, WorkFront, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices and how to optimize content for search and for analytics tracking
  • Familiarity with mobile site optimization and ADA
  • Thorough attention to detail
  • Personable, professional team player with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, project-manage, and problem solve in a deadline-driven environment

Various jurisdictions have passed pay transparency laws that require companies provide salary ranges for any positions for which they are accepting applications. Global Atlantic has offices in Atlanta, Batesville, Bermuda, Boston, Des Moines, Hartford, Indianapolis, and New York City. The base salary range posted below is inclusive of the lowest cost of living geography to the highest in which we have a Global Atlantic office.

Global Atlantic's base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic's total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Other rewards may include annual cash bonuses, long-term incentives (equity), generous benefits (including immediate vesting on employee contributions to a 401(k), as well as a company match on your contributions), and sales incentives. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Compensation for our more senior positions have a larger component of short-term cash bonus and long-term incentives. The base salary range for this role is $38,000 to $73,000.
