Huff Construction Inc. a well-respected family owned Construction Company, is looking for a Project Manager. We are seeking a highly motivated, conscientious individual with commercial construction experience who wants to be part of our team for the long-term.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
- Determine the labor requirements and dispatch workers to construction site.
- Inspect and review projects to monitor compliance with building and safety codes and other regulations.
- Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to staff and the representing owner.
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions.
- Obtain all necessary permits and licenses.
- Direct and supervise workers.
- Prepare and submit project estimates and cost tracking reports.
- Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather or emergencies at the construction site.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven working experience in construction management.
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
- Self-motivated
- Understanding of all facets of the construction process.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- A team player with leadership abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Competent in conflict and crisis management.
- Knowledge of Sage Contractor and Estimate Standard Software is beneficial but no required.
