Busy Mechanical Construction company looking for an energized and motivated individual for the position of Project Engineer to join our team.

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $45,000.00 to $70,000.00 per year, Salary commensurate with experience

Oversee internal aspects of Construction Project
Ideal candidate will have minimum 1 year experience in Construction Mechanical HVAC trades, strong knowledge of both air side (ducts) and water side (piping), with experience working on Public projects.

Responsibilities:
Project Engineer to oversea, manage, and coordinate all internal aspects of Construction Projects from planning to closeout
Review and Understand All Contract General Conditions, Work Scope, Specs, Drawings, Submittals, RFIs, Change Orders, etc.
Organize, prepare, submit, track all submittals and contract communications
Assist Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers in preparation and tracking of all project documents

Qualifications:
Must have strong background in Mechanical Engineering
Bachelor?s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is a plus
At least 1 year administrative experience in Mechanical Construction
Knowledge of HVAC and Piping Systems, building products, construction details/design and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
Familiarity with Procore or similar software
Self-motivated with excellent time and project management skills
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work within an environment with deadlines while having to multi-task with changing priorities
Must be Reliable and Responsible, possess strong personal commitment for long-term and meaningful goals
Must have a car and be able and willing to travel to multiple job sites in NYC

Experience with Public Construction Projects (i.e. SCA, DDC, NYCHA, DASNY, MTA) = A PLUS
Experience with NYC School Construction Authority SCA = A PLUS
Familiarity with Procore = A PLUS
