Position: Electrical Estimator – Residential Construction

In Charge Electrical Services, LLC is the one of the largest residential electrical construction companies in Texas with multiple locations across: Austin, Fate, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Lewisville, Houston, Dripping Springs and Temple. Founded in 2007, In Charge began with just 3 employees and has grown to more than 500. We work with the nation’s largest home builders and pride ourselves on the quality and consistency of our construction work and on post-sale homeowner service.

Requirements:

• Detail-oriented
• Strong work ethic with a focus on team success
• Self-motivated with a desire to always be learning
• Proficient with MS Office and web-based applications
• Experience with computer-based drawing tools is helpful but not a requirement
• Effective written and oral communication sufficient to be able to communicate directly with customers and senior In Charge executives
• Individual must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task, prioritizing and reprioritizing to meet company needs
• Must be willing to undergo pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen

Job Responsibilities:

• Cooperated with purchasing managers to prepare construction plans based on master takeoffs and customer additions
• Update project orders to include address specific selections including: construction plan edits, material requisition sheets, billing and payment documents
• Maintain effective communication with all internal and external customers
• Prompt response to internal and external feedback to continuously improve our processes and department
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, vendors, management, and peers

Required Education:

• High school diploma or the equivalent
