New City Moving was established in 2009, and now have over 125 moving trucks and help over 13,000 customers move annually in Chicago, surrounding suburbs and now…across the country. As the largest, and the highest rated, moving company in Chicago. We are expanding very quickly and need to add more amazing individuals to our team!

Job Summary

When moves are booked at New City Moving we rely on our confirmation specialist to ensure all the information for move day is correct, and the client knows about all additional services that we offer. Seasonal position with a possibility of permanent.

What You'll Do

· Confirm all scheduled moves via phone and make any updates as needed

· As the first line of defense, make sure the customer is ready to go for moving day! (updating inventory counts, move dates and times, requesting certificate of insurance or parking permits, etc.)

· Get to know your coworkers by finalizing the schedule and sending it to our Dispatch team

· Offer positive and energetic customer service on every call 100% of the time

· Ensure all client info is correct and tagged in each file

· Dazzle customers with knowledge regarding our insurance coverage options

· Friendly, helpful, confident, and engaging personality

· You are genuinely caring of people and want them to have a smooth moving process

· Ability to multi-task while paying close attention to detail

· Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

· High School Diploma or GED required

Compensation and Benefits:

Contribution for medical benefits of 50% company paid after 60 days (full time employees)

· Competitive pay and the ability for upward mobility( $16-$17 per hour)
