Position Overview

• We are seeking to hire a Configuration Analyst to support a classified Space System in Redondo Beach, CA.

Primary Responsibilities

• Configuration management of hardware, software technical data, and documents related to the design, modification, manufacture, or sustainment of complex embedded defense-related electronic systems.
• Configuration management planning, process control, and execution to manage design changes and updates to various system baselines.
• Planning and coordinating the preparation of project documentation, such as engineering drawings, production specifications, and documents to ensure customer contract requirements are met.
• Reviewing contracts to determine documentation required for each phase of the project, applying knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes.
• Analyzing proposed changes in product design to determine the effect on the overall product and system.
• Establishing CCB/ERB agenda and preparing for change authorization and documentation by company and subcontractor.
• Reviewing and analyzing released engineering change data and coordinating changes with engineering, quality, support, manufacturing, and engineering data control activities.
• Working closely with engineering in the processing, review, approval, and release of work products.
• Implementing PROPs and Program CM Plan or Practice requirements.
• Establishing and maintaining records in Enovia
• Collaborating with CM and DM team members daily.

Minimum Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Agile tools and methodologies

• Strong interpersonal and communication (written/verbal) skills and is expected to execute the configuration role in a fast-paced team environment.

• Experience analyzing, evaluating, developing, and implementing processes and systems within budget and adhering to time requirements and schedule.

• Domain knowledge of Configuration Mgmt. standards such as MIL-HDBK-61A &/or EIA-649B &/or EIA-649-1

Education/Experience

Bachelor's + 3 years of experience; Master's + 1 year experience*
