Greater Nevada Credit Union is looking for Compliance & Quality Assurance Manager with a passion for Helping More People Live Greater!

About The Position

The Compliance and Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for the development, oversight, and leadership of the team responsible for the credit union’s compliance and quality assurance programs. In addition, the person in this role leads efforts to oversee the company’s procedural platform, identifying opportunities for enhanced process consistencies within the organization.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Ensure credit union compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements through the implementation of a program that ensures timely reviews and accountability by involved areas of the organization.
  • Lead the quality assurance program to ensure:
  • The delivery of products and services is aligned with internal expectations and documented procedures, and
  • Access to systems is being appropriately managed.
  • Manage the company’s procedural platform to ensure the consistency of naming and numbering conventions throughout and the identification and resolution of any potential conflicts among processes within and/or across departments.
  • On an ongoing basis, review laws and regulations that impact the Credit Union’s compliance requirements providing timely recommendations to business unit leaders.
  • Ensure laws and regulations, and legal requirements impacting the Credit Unions compliance requirements over the Cannabis program are accurate and up to date.

Compensation

  • $76,000.00-$105,000.00 per year

Skills

  • 3-5 years of managerial experience
  • Strong knowledge of credit union operations and internal control structure needed to support the operations.
  • Ability to work well with Senior Management and Executive Leadership
  • Passion for process improvement initiatives and ability to drive changes throughout the organization.
  • Knowledgeable of regulatory compliance

Competencies

  • Experience managing business partner relationships.
  • Ability to grasp the nuances of business needs beyond functional area of responsibility.
  • Inquisitive and adept analytically.
  • Ability to organize and understand complex processes.

Physical Demands

  • While performing the duties of your job, you may regularly be required to sit/stand and use a keyboard, mouse, phone, and multiple monitors for an extended period (including repetitive motions with hands, fingers, arms, etc.).
  • You may be occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
