Overview

CleanSlate is a national addiction medicine practice that uses medication to treat patients with Alcohol and Opioid Use Disorder. We also treat associated polysubstance use disorder, depression/anxiety, and Hepatitis C. We utilize addiction medicine best practices in the care of our patients, including the ASAM 6 Dimensions of Care and national practice standards.

We are seeking compassionate, experienced individuals to join our team in our fight against addiction! The Community Relations Liaison is responsible for cultivating, maintaining, and building relationships with community partners to connect patients to care. They will contribute towards growth targets set forth by senior leadership. This role requires a mix of strong interpersonal skills and established sales acumen to connect with prospective clients on an individual level, all while contributing to the centers’ growth objectives and building relationships within the assigned communities.


Performance Responsibilities

  • Maintain in-depth understanding of clinical programs, service offerings, and locations.
  • Establish relationships with Employee Assistance Programs, hospitals, treatment centers, therapist, physicians, organizations, VA, and/or military to serve as a referral source.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, operations, and clinical leadership on business development, strategic relationships, and outreach opportunities with the community.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve performance and best practices.
  • Build new relationships with addiction and mental health providers, advocates, facilities, and organizations.
  • Execute on a minimum of 6 quality referral engagements per business day in our markets.
  • Utilize our CRM tool to manage and measure our referral contacts, activities and engagements.
  • Ensure relationships are established with professionals that can refer when appropriate for MAT services.
  • Strengthen preexisting relationships between CleanSlate and other providers, advocates, facilities, and organizations, and ensuring efficient referral pathways.
  • Ensures a personal understanding of the players and resources within the community and those entering it.
  • Identify opportunities, (e.g., speaking events, clinical tours, clinical meetings, conferences, etc.) for CleanSlate to position itself as a subject matter expert and present said opportunities to local CleanSlate dyad leadership teams.
  • Manage a forward calendar of at least 2 weeks of scheduled meetings and events with community partners and team members to discuss referral opportunities.
  • Manage Community Outreach budget, creating analysis for Return on Investment when allocating funds to community outreach opportunities.
  • Any and all other tasks or projects, as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelors Degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of three (3) years experience in health care business development/marketing environment with measurable business development results, and a knowledge of behavioral health and Substance Use Disorder treatment principles, preferred.
    • Experience working directly in the Behavioral Health field
    • Experience with establishing relationships with hospitals, EAPs, treatment centers, therapist, physicians, organizations, VA, and/or military.
  • Licensure: Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record. Must be able to retain automobile liability insurance at the minimum level required by state law.
  • Additional Requirements: Must be able and willing to work flexible hours, including evenings, early mornings, and weekends.

Physical and Environmental Demands

  • Dependent body mobility to access a standard office environment with shelves and drawers of varying heights.
  • Normal or corrected vision sufficient to read a computer screen, and printed text and handwritten documents.
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard daily.
  • Stamina to sit, stand up, or drive for hours at a time.
  • Ability to transport, lift or carry essential work-related materials or items up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to speak and hear sufficiently to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone, and in various forms of written communication.
  • Ability to document, recall, and explain detailed trainings, conversation, or events, and apply oral/written instructions, as needed.
  • Will be required to work in an office environment and be able to travel frequently to other site locations and applicable locations nationally, on an as needed basis.
  • Must have a reliable vehicle and clean driving record.
