Job description
The Community Helper assists clients by finding resources in the community. The Community Helper also assists senior citizens with their needs: scheduling transportation, deciphering their mail, contacting social security and helping with utility assistance, etc.
Other duties for the Community Helper:
- Answer phones and transfer calls as needed
- Make copies and sends faxes
- Use the resource book to offer referrals for clients to receive help
- Use the template provided to help type resumes
- Using list provided, help clients search for jobs, complete applications and set up emails
- Other clerical duties as assigned
The Community Helper position is a 3-month temporary assignment but can go a long way toward longer employment for this company!

Pay: $15.00 per hour
