The Program Coordinator will work collaboratively between the LPKNC Coalition and Child & Family Resources Inc. The Program Coordinator will support the Senior Program Director, coalition, and program in all aspects of the community engagement and curriculum delivery of Guiding Good Choices. The Program Coordinator holds ultimate responsibility for the management of program logistics, including partners and schools; and coordination and support with reporting, community mobilization activities that engage parents and other adults, project-based functions including arranging meetings, handling information requests, administrative support, facilitating virtual and/or in-person programming and plays a key role in participant recruitment. The position also supports the development and coordination of programs within PPY.

Summary of Essential Job Functions:
  • Manages and oversees overall grant activity implementation and execution.
  • Provide staff support to the coalition.
  • Manages the processes of strategic planning and implementation.
  • Understand the coalition framework, process, and requirements.
  • Monitor the overall process to guide the coalition and ensure the coalition is moving forward.
  • Attends and participates in required AHCCCS, agency, and departmental-related meetings and training.
  • Keep records of the work and decisions of the coalition.
  • Ensure all coalition and funder reports are completed according to the schedule of deliverables.
  • Distribute meeting information prior to meetings (e.g. agendas, pending decisions, and meeting minutes).
  • Able to determine the information needed, collect and analyze information, and devise and develop statistical analyses and reports.
  • Skilled in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
  • Skilled at meeting facilitation, and conducting action-oriented meetings.
  • Coordinate with Senior Program Director and Accounting to analyze and interpret financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and/or projections.
  • Understanding of the Strategic Prevention Framework (SPF) and the ability to integrate it into all grant activities.
  • Develop and oversee a Marketing and Outreach Plan to engage parents, and community members.
  • Generate reports and community presentations.
  • Represent the project in the community, at appropriate events, and through presentations about the project.
  • Participates in Performance Quality Improvement (PQI) initiatives.
  • Facilitates programming utilizing an evidence-based curriculum with a strong emphasis on program fidelity.
  • Creates a safe, inclusive, welcoming, and supportive environment for both youth and adults while using a trauma-informed approach.
  • Responsible for planning, promoting, and directing a schedule of activities for sessions/coalition meetings.
  • Reports issues to Senior Program Director and proposes recommendations.
  • Supports Program and department in recruitment and outreach efforts.
  • Attend required agency and program/department meetings.
  • Documents incidents and makes referrals as needed.
  • Adheres to agency policies & procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Resides within the designated local jurisdiction of services (zip codes: 85713, 85714, 85706, 85746, 85756).
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Experience with AHCCCS and Prevention preferred.
  • Flexible, detail-oriented, and well-organized.
  • Experience working with Coalitions and adult education/training preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Sensitive to cultural diversity including age, ethnicity, and lifestyle.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed approaches, positive youth development, youth-friendly referrals, classroom management, LGBTQ Inclusivity, Mandatory Reporting, and other components critical to providing a safe and supportive environment for youth.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
  • Experience presenting on a virtual platform is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Knowledge of classroom management techniques.
  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
  • Location: must be able to provide direct service to participants within programming areas.
  • Maintain a functional and safe home working space with adequate internet connection for the job.
  • Comply with all agency and program policies and procedures including confidentiality, employee conduct, computer usage, and dress code.
  • Meet program/department’s performance and productivity standards.
  • Adhere to the schedule agreed upon with the supervisor.
  • Follow and model CFR’s core values.
  • Must be eligible and able to obtain a Level one fingerprint card.
  • Must be certified in CFR/First Aid.
  • Must have a valid Arizona driver’s license, and vehicle and meet agency liability insurance requirements.

Ability Requirements:
  • Sitting for extended periods of time daily; standing and walking short distances.
  • Moderate twisting, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 40 pounds in the performance of assigned duties.
  • Ability to use a variety of office equipment and machines as referenced.
  • Normal manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination are required.
  • Repeated hand-wrist movement is required.

The nature of the position involves a fast-paced working environment with multitasking of many different duties and tasks. General daily priorities may change at a moment’s notice and the position requires quick response time and flexibility.
