What to expect: As a CNC Maintenance Mechanic/Technician , you will safely maintain and repair CNC equipment and machining centers across an array of manufacturers. Responsible for preventative and daily maintenance of production burn tables, press brake, and numerous state-of-the-art CNC machining centers to include Mazak, Giddings & Lewis (G&L), Haas, and Okuma.

Essential Functions:

• Perform breakdown maintenance on CNC equipment including diagnosing and repair/replacement of defective parts -electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic.

• Perform simple and complex preventative maintenance on CNC, production and building equipment.

• Interpret hydraulic/electrical drawings and technical repair manuals for breakdown diagnostics using various tools.

• Operate equipment including forklift, man lift, etc.

• Work and interact effectively in a team environment

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Technical degree in electronics/CNC maintenance or equivalent or 4 years’ experience in electrical, hydraulic and mechanical repair. Including troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair and preventative maintenance.

• Ability to read and interpret machine blueprint and drawings.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with production and building equipment maintenance
  

Work Environment

• Exposure to weld fumes

• Noise levels of 85db or greater

Physical Requirements

• Operate overhead cranes, jib cranes and hoists

• Lift up to 35lbs frequently

• Work at multiple heights

Additional Information:

Shift: 2nd Shift; 02:00-10:00PM CST & 3rd Shift; 10:00PM-06:00AM CST

Compensation: Grade 6; Hourly

Approximate annual base range $65-75K + Quarterly Gain Sharing bonus. Additional hourly shift differential of $1.25 HR.
