Position Description:
Applied Medical is looking for the following machinists:

Milling Machinist:
  • Setting up and operating CNC Mill (Makino F5's, Makino PS95, Matsuura) machines in a production environment
  • Read and interpret blueprints and manufacture parts within specifications
  • Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) using precision measuring instruments and ensure parts conform to the blueprints

Spring Forming Machinist:
  • Setting up and operating CNC Spring Forming (FUL16, FMU16, FMU25 & 4Slide) machines in a production environment
  • Read and interpret blueprints and manufacture parts within specifications
  • Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) using precision measuring instruments and ensure parts conform to the blueprints
Stamping Machinist:
  • Setting up and operating CNC Stamping (Bruderer BSTA 510 & BSTA 810, Saga) machines in a production environment
  • Read and interpret blueprints and manufacture parts within specifications
  • Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) using precision measuring instruments and ensure parts conform to the blueprints
Swiss Screw (Lathe) Machinist:
  • Setting up, running and operating CNC Swiss Screw (Lathe) (Citizen L-12, Citizen L-20, Citizen Cincom, Tornos DECO, Star SR20R, SwissTec, Coherent StarCut) machines in a production environment
  • Read and interpret blueprints and manufacture parts within specifications
  • Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) using precision measuring instruments and ensure parts conform to the blueprints
Position Requirements:
This position requires the following skills and attributes:
  • Work flexible and extended hours as needed
  • Be a detail-oriented and quality-minded individual
  • Possess basic machine shop math skills and ability to perform calculations
  • Experience with Star, Citizen, Deco, Makino, and/or Matsuura is a plus
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, etc.
  • 5+ years of work experience related to CNC machining
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to support in training new team members
Benefits:
The base compensation range for this role is $20 - $25 / hour for the position in California. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries in California based on the date of this job posting. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range compensation package during your hiring process.

Please understand that the compensation range may be modified in the future. Each amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation once such amount is earned and determinable.
