CNC Machinist II

Position Description:Milling Machinist:
- Setting up and operating CNC Mill (Makino F5's, Makino PS95, Matsuura) machines in a production environment
- Read and interpret blueprints and manufacture parts within specifications
- Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) using precision measuring instruments and ensure parts conform to the blueprints
Spring Forming Machinist:
- Setting up and operating CNC Spring Forming (FUL16, FMU16, FMU25 & 4Slide) machines in a production environment
- Read and interpret blueprints and manufacture parts within specifications
- Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) using precision measuring instruments and ensure parts conform to the blueprints
- Setting up and operating CNC Stamping (Bruderer BSTA 510 & BSTA 810, Saga) machines in a production environment
- Read and interpret blueprints and manufacture parts within specifications
- Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) using precision measuring instruments and ensure parts conform to the blueprints
- Setting up, running and operating CNC Swiss Screw (Lathe) (Citizen L-12, Citizen L-20, Citizen Cincom, Tornos DECO, Star SR20R, SwissTec, Coherent StarCut) machines in a production environment
- Read and interpret blueprints and manufacture parts within specifications
- Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) using precision measuring instruments and ensure parts conform to the blueprints
- Work flexible and extended hours as needed
- Be a detail-oriented and quality-minded individual
- Possess basic machine shop math skills and ability to perform calculations
- Experience with Star, Citizen, Deco, Makino, and/or Matsuura is a plus
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as gloves, safety glasses, ear plugs, etc.
- 5+ years of work experience related to CNC machining
- Excellent communication skills
