Job Summary:

The CNC Operator (Machine Operator) will operate CNC lathes and mills to customer specifications.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Operates CNC lathes and mills to produce hydraulic fittings and manifolds

· Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations.

· Reviews work orders for quality and accuracy; according to specifications.

· Transports supplies, and finished goods manually and/or using fork trucks and skids.

· Notify department head when problems arise to resolve issues with customer orders.

· Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.

· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:
· Efficient use of tape measure, high gauge, micrometer, and reading blue prints.

· Excellent verbal communication skills.

· Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

· Good math (counting) and written communication skills.

· Efficient time management skills.
Education and Experience:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

· At least two years of CNC operating experience.

Physical Requirements:
· Ability to work long periods on your feet.

· Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds at a time.

· Must wear safety gear, such as goggles and gloves, when handling box cutters or similar tools.

Job Type: Full-time
