This is a 13 week contract position that requires at least one year of Geriatrics experience.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or nursing assistant to join our team at facility in Maryland. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct care and support to our residents. You will work closely with other members of the healthcare team, including registered nurses and licensed practical nurses, to ensure that our residents receive the best possible care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care and support to residents, including assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing and dressing
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each resident
• Educate residents and families on health and wellness topics and provide support and guidance as needed
• Monitor residents' health and report any changes to the nursing staff
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Participate in continuing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest developments in nursing assistant practice

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completed a nursing assistant training program and passed the state certification exam
• At least 1 years of experience as a nursing assistant in a long-term care setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
