Job description
The CMT is responsible for administering medications to residents in a long term skilled facility. The individual must perform these tasks as ordered by the physician, under the supervison of a licensed nurse, and in accordance with state and federal rules and regulations. Also must perform routine daily tasks required in maintaining the health, comfort and well-being of the residents.
Qualifications
- State certification as a Nursing Assistant mandatory.
- State approved medication administration certification.
- State approved insulin administration certification.
- Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
