CMM Operator
2nd shift
Starting pay $22.08 per hour
Shift: Monday - Friday 2:30PM - 11:00PM (some weekend overtime needed)
30-minute unpaid lunch break
Job duties:
- Set up, operate and adjust a variety of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to layout and check the quality of machined components.
- Performs CMM checks and analyze machined components at various stages of processing. Communicates results of the CMM report to the machinist/supervisor for corrective action when needed.
- Provides training during 6-week training period
- Crane or hoist experience
- Tape measure and some mechanical knowledge is helpful
- Overtime on weekend is possible

- Previous hands-on experience in CNC and conventional machining operations such as milling, drilling, boring, tapping, broaching.
- Knowledge and experience in computer controlled operations
- Operation of CMM’s with knowledge and use of programming languages such as Spectrum and PC-DMIS.
- Prior experience with these programming languages is a plus
- Must be able to work in a team environment, be receptive to change and have good organizational skills.
