Pip is a virtual-first perioperative clinic for patients. We are viewing surgery as a catalyst for change and believe that by building out an evidence-based virtual care clinic, we can identify risk factors and create custom care plans for patients to optimize surgical outcomes.

In today's world, the perioperative journey is complex and impersonal; patients feel a lack of clear direction around pre- and post- operative best practices. Pip is on a mission to provide 1:1 support, education and organization, and health prep for patients before and after surgery. Our solution creates a custom care plan for each patient with dedicated resources to optimize surgical outcomes.

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing engineering team. As an early team member, you will have the chance to define and work on the foundational elements of our company, work closely with the founding team, and guide the product's technical direction.

You would join a Product Engineering Team that values user-centered experience and builds a product that results from the cooperation between our product, design, development, and operations teams. Through iteration, testing, user research, and experimentation, we believe in constantly evolving and improving.

What you'll do:

• Deployment, automation, management, and improving AWS cloud-based production systems and release processes (AWS, Docker, ECS, Cognito, CloudFront, Guard Duty, Inspector, Cloudwatch)
• Ensuring production systems are safe, secure, and available, achieving service levels and scalability
• Management and automation of creation, release, and configuration of production systems
• System troubleshooting, incident management, and problem resolution across various domains and platforms (Mobile Application, backend gateway, clinical platform, Jira Tickets.
• Own our AWS HIPAA Log management and monitoring (S3 buckets)

What you'll need:

• You have 3+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer working in an AWS Cloud production environment
• You have experience managing and upgrading DevOps toolsets, testing and automation tools, multitenant, and KMS / BYOK
• You have proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows
• Experience with AWS Cognito and user pools

Full-time base salary range of $120,000 to $135,000 plus full benefits: Flexible PTO, medical, dental, vision
