Job Description


As a licensed clinician you will be responsible for providing addiction treatment and mental health treatment to Inpatient Detoxification and Resident Treatment (RTC) patients. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will perform direct services, including group facilitation, individual therapy, family therapy, and crisis interventions under the supervision of the Clinical Director

Responsibilities

  • Provide Professional and ethical therapy to chemically dependent patients in treatment through group facilitation and education. The Clinician I performs group services and individual therapy.
  • Initiates/develops a treatment plan with specific goals and interventions unique to the needs of the patient.
  • Provides health teaching for adult/family through individual and group interactions.
  • Evaluates the response of the adult/family to interventions in order to revise the plan, including discharge criteria.
  • Uses assessment data to identify problem list and other interactive social systems.

This is a full-time position that will work Sunday-Thursday 8:30am-5pm or Tuesday-Saturday 8:30am-5pm.

Compensation Range: $62,400-72,800/annually

Compensation will be dependent upon geographic region, education, and experience


Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in social work, counseling, psychology.
  • Active independent clinical license in the state of California; LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, PsyD, PhD.
  • One-year experience working with adults with alcohol and substance abuse patients.
  • Possess and maintain a current Basic Life Support certification, along with a current SAMA, CTI, or CPI certification.
  • Knowledge of industry standards: organization, theory, principles, and research processes, accreditation and regulatory standards, ability to assess clinical care requirements based on psychotherapeutic and human development principles, scope of practice, and regulatory standards
