The Riverside University Health System - Behavioral Health Department seeks candidates for several Behavioral Health Services Supervisor positions.

Incumbents in these positions supervise and coordinate the work of multidisciplinary staff providing behavioral health services for specialized programs within the behavioral health department. The schedule for these positions will be a 9/80 or 4/10 schedule and will be determined by the hiring department.

We are looking for candidates who

  • Are Licensed professionals (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)
  • Have a minimum of three years post-licensure experience
  • Have strong computer and organizational skills
  • Have supervisory/lead experience

For this recruitment, some positions are eligible for a 10% DTR differential that is applied to hours worked. At any time, this differential can be removed.

California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs) Riverside, Ca.
The CalWORKs Program offers a variety of services to help adult clients become self-sufficient to take care of their families and reduce barriers to employment. This program assists the Department of Public Social Services CalWORKs program with adult clients who require mental health services including assessments, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, crisis management, substance use counseling, domestic violence counseling, and client advocacy. This position will supervise the Clinical Treatment Team that provide these services, monitor their workflow and develop and implement policies and procedures. This position will work a 9/80 schedule from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Homeless Housing Opportunities, Partnership and Education (HHOPE) Riverside, Ca.
The incumbent for this position will be responsible for overseeing and directing the work of a behavioral health team providing housing support services, street-based outreach and daily living skills training. Additionally, the incumbent will provide assistance and support to clinics and landlords in resolving various housing challenges. Knowledge of Fair Housing and residential care laws and regulations, and experience with forensics are preferred skills for this program.

Blaine Street Adult Mental Health Clinic, Riverside, Ca.
The Blaine Street Behavioral Health Clinic is an integrated adult outpatient clinic. The clinic serves adult Medi-Cal beneficiaries 18 years and older who have a serious mental illness. It provides the following treatment services initial assessments, individual, group, psychiatric, and case management services. The clinics Multidisciplinary teams provide mental health treatment, case management and linkage to community services. Treatment ranges from, psychiatric services and short-term therapy to ongoing support, housing and benefits assistance. This position will plan, assign, direct, supervise, and coordinate the work of multidisciplinary staff providing behavioral health treatment services, social and rehabilitation services, and consultation and education services to consumers, public and private agencies, and the community. Provide guidance to subordinates on departmental philosophy, goals and objectives, policies and procedures through casework conferences, staff meetings, and work review; assist and participate in the development and coordination of in-service training and staff development programs. Design and develop programs and effective strategies that demonstrate positive outcomes for various populations, including those who have been underserved or inappropriately served as a result of their ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, age or other factors. This position will work a 9/80 schedule from 8:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Youth and Family Community Services, Riverside, Ca.
Youth and Family Community Services conducts Qualified Individual Assessments and provides case management services to high-risk Children’s Services Division dependents and Probation wards of the court. This position will provide clinical and administrative supervision to both licensed and unlicensed staff and collaborate with Children’s Services Division and Probation Departments. This position will work a 9/80 schedule Monday through Thursday 8:00am to 5:30pm along with every other Friday.

Mobile Response Program, Riverside, Ca.
The Mobile Response Program provides crisis intervention services via Mobile Crisis Response Teams to the community at the requests of stakeholders. The Mobile Crisis Response Teams are part of the Crisis Support System of Care Program. These are field based teams consisting of Clinical Therapists, Behavioral Health Specialist, Substance Use Specialist, Homeless and Housing Specialist, and Peer Support Specialist working collaboratively with Law Enforcement, Emergency Departments, Schools, Cities, and other Community Agencies to decrease the need for inpatient hospitalizations, as well as decreasing the amount of time that these agencies are dedicating to individuals in psychiatric crisis. The Mobile Crisis Response Teams can work with individuals from all age groups. This position will provide administrative and clinical support to mobile crisis field-based staff; hire, on board and train new staff; monitor service delivery and quality of services provided; and participate in program development with the leaderships team. This position will occasionally work in the field observing staff therefore a driver’s license is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,536.00 - $104,101.00 per year
