Overview:

Embark Behavioral Health is looking for a Clinical Director with experience treating adolescents with eating disorders and who aligns with our mission of reducing adolescent and young adult anxiety, depression and suicide to staff an OP, IOP and PHP clinic in Buckhead, GA. The Embark at Buckhead Clinical Director will work closely with the Executive Director to establish a program to treat Eating Disorders in adolescents and young adults at our brand new clinic in Buckhead, GA.


Embark operates facilities across the US that support adolescents, young adults, and their families by offering a full continuum of care from Long Term Residential and Wilderness Therapy environments to our IOP/PHP clinics to virtual outpatient care. Our local IOP/PHP clinics are a critical part of our strategy to increase access to life-saving mental health treatments for families with insurance.

Responsibilities:


As Clinical Director, you will be supported by an experienced Executive Director and Administrative Team that are all focused on the mission to facilitate lasting positive change for young people and their families.

The Clinical Director provides oversight to the therapists and case managers and by leading program development and management of clinical and administrative tasks.
The Clinical Director also provides direct services for group, individual and family therapy and will be responsible for carrying a small clinical caseload in addition to their supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum master's Degree in Behavioral Sciences - Social Work (MSW,) Clinical Social Work (CSW,) Clinical Mental Counseling (CMHC), Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or a related discipline.
  • Independent Clinical Licensure in the state of GA is required for this role.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or equivalent.
  • Must be a board-approved clinical supervisor to hold this position.
  • Prior experience working with clients presenting with eating disorders.
  • Prior experience working with adolescents and families.
  • Prior experience leading a clinical team and supervising clinicians for licensure as well as supervising interns.
  • A desire to facilitate client growth through a team approach, working with other care providers.
  • A desire to perform and develop counseling/therapeutic expertise in individual, family, and group therapy.
  • Strong People Manager with excellent team-building skills
  • Two years of working experience as a licensed therapist leading individual, family, and group therapy sessions.
  • Ability to plan, implement, and adjust a course of treatment as required.
  • Ability to pass a state background check
