ABA Centers of America provides ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy and diagnostic services to people with autism. We help clients and families in our centers, in homes, and in the community. Our company began with one person trying to get help for two young family members with autism. Now our goal is to bring ABA therapy to as many clients as possible. Our clinics are in multiple locations, and we are expanding rapidly but with careful attention to planning and resources. Client care is at the center of everything we do.

What You’ll Be Doing

• In conjunction with admissions and the clinical department, ensure that intakes are completed for prospective families/clients
• In conjunction with the clinical department and under the direction of the regional clinical director, ensure that initial assessments are completed within the company timeline and in accordance with the assessment standard operating procedure
• In conjunction with the Clinical team and the Academy School of Excellence, utilize a variety of standardized assessments such as Vineland, VB-MAPP, AFLS, EFLS, PEAK, Safe-T etc., when conducting initial assessments
• Develop goals that are best in class, evidence-based and reflect the goals of the client as well as the results of an assessment
• Ensure that assessment tools and interpretation of assessments are appropriate for the client
• Ensure the appropriate transition of cases after the initial assessment, including overlap meetings with families and receiving team
• Provide a maximum of 5 initial assessments per week under the direction of the Clinical Assessor Lead

Educational and Work-Experience Requirements

• Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis
• Board Certified Behavior Analyst
• 3+ years of experience in the ABA field supervising others
• Willingness to submit to drug and background screenings

Expertise Needed

• Experience training staff on conducting initial assessments
• Experience with completing initial assessments within insurance-based services
• Experience with insurance-funded services
• Flexibility with hours and the ability to work some weekends and nights as needed
• Experience with conducting a variety of Standardized Assessments ( skill acquisition and behavior reduction)
• Experience with utilizing electronic data collection
• Experience with services in-home and clinical environment
• Experience with conducting peer reviews with insurance companies for authorization of hours
• Experience conducting standardized assessments with the use of telehealth preferred
• Experience with conducting assessments for a variety of ages and skill sets of clients
