Clark Nuber is seeking organized, detailed, flexible, enthusiastic, positive, confident, individuals with strong interpersonal, communication, and business writing skills. No direct public accounting experience required, but helpful. Should be comfortable with multiple forms of communication and have an advanced knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.

You will work as a team with tax clients and shareholders to:
  • Monitor, resource, and track projects for tax clients including scheduling, timing, action plans, updating of client and internal trackers, tracking of workflow through entire cycle, and communicating progress to team members.

  • Manage the administrative process of a project including planning, conflict checks, budgeting, resource management, engagement initiation, and deliverable development.

  • Collaborate with engagement managers to confirm scope requirements, determine key performance metrics, generate forecasts, and track profitability.

  • Monitor administration of controls in the project/engagement process to ensure all relevant controls are performed for each engagement throughout project lifecycle.

  • Assist with research and developing of tools, templates, and processes for project planning and execution.

  • Create and maintain project management procedures to support the success of the full project lifecycle from initiation to close.

  • Prepare client service agreements for distribution to clients and track status.

  • Monitor new entity checklists and follow-up as necessary.

  • Create and/or update scheduling spreadsheets and roll forward Provided by Client lists (PBC).

  • Help monitor tax compliance and coordinate with tax administrative assistants.

  • Update CRM and keep projects moving in system as needed.

  • Schedule weekly check-in meetings with managers and shareholders.
  • Meet regularly with tax shareholders to adjust ongoing task list as needed.

  • Arrange and attend internal practice development and production meetings.

  • Compile board presentation and other meeting materials.

  • Print, bind, and deliver highlighted forms, schedules, and instructions as needed.

  • Communicate weekly with and back up other client service coordinators within the firm when required.

  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the Shareholders and Managers to support the needs of the organization.
You will work as a team with audit clients and shareholders to:
  • Work collaboratively with audit engagement team members to assist with pre audit readiness assessment.
  • Communicate with clients to ensure timeliness and accuracy of requested audit schedules.
  • Monitor and review engagement progress and client expectations to deliver services that meet or exceed the expectations of the client and engagement team.
  • Aid in market development opportunities by conducting market/client research and ensuring timely input of information in CRM database.
  • Prepare client presentations and internal/external correspondence as requested by the audit teams.
  • Assist in engagement team coordination such as scheduling, staffing, tracking and sending billing invoices.
  • Track and monitor engagement performance metrics, such as budget to actual costs incurred.
  • Participate in engagement wrap up tasks and activities to ensure timely completion of engagements.
  • Effectively and efficiently use technology tools in the documentation of your work product and communications including Engagement, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Active Data, and other software as necessary.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills and assess sufficiency of testing results against your established expectations.
  • Demonstrate thoughtful professional judgment, self-accountability, integrity, teamwork and ability to work independently.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely to supervisors and peers regarding project status, open items, and identified issues both verbally and in writing.
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by the Shareholders In-Charge to support the needs of the organization.
  • Work effectively with other client services coordinators to share best practices and apply consistent processes were applicable.

To be successful in this position, candidates should have a minimum of three years’ experience in project coordination or financial controls and progressively been responsible for providing support to multiple constituents. Previous professional services company experience preferred.
Pay Rate Range: $31.03 per hour minimum to $46.55 per hour maximum salary range
