About the Program Production Team

Forage is looking for a Client Program Manager (Operations) to join its Program Production Team.

In line with our twin goals of serving companies and students, the Program Production Team is responsible for designing, drafting and deploying bespoke online Job Simulations for our corporate partners (including KPMG, BCG, Walmart, Electronic Arts, Lululemon and many others).

Our programs are designed to simulate the actual work that an early career candidate will experience in a specific job at a specific company. These are immersive experiences that impart valuable skills to prepare candidates for the world of work.

We work closely with our corporate partners around the world to create and launch Forage programs and are building a first of its kind system for producing career learning content at scale efficiently.

The Program Production Team is fast-growing and is central to Forage's mission in serving students and companies around the world.

Role Description

The creation of a Forage program includes a number of different production steps. In this role, you will specialize in a minimum of 2 steps of the production process, but will regularly work cross functionally with your peers to assist where needed across the program production function.

Responsibilities

All team members are expected to fulfill the following responsibilities within their role:

  • Project management of each program progressing through the production steps to meet launch timelines, this includes but is not limited to:
    • Regular follow-ups with clients to elicit relevant information from our corporate partners efficiently
    • Consistent documentation of progress
    • Reliably meeting deadlines and producing results according to set timelines
    • Clear and regular communication with other team members throughout the other steps of the program's production
  • Initiating and taking ownership of experiments to improve the production process aligned with functional goals related to speed to launch and scalability
  • Learning additional steps of the production process
  • Professional communication with key stakeholders including collaboration and timely responses to corporate partners, internal stakeholders and our network of freelancers

The day to day responsibilities of your role will include all of the above, as well as specialization in 2+ of the following steps of the production process. Which step you will carry out as your primary role will be based on team needs at any given time:

  • Alignment: Coordinating with clients on program specifications relevant to their company
  • Hiring: Sourcing, onboarding and retaining our network of subject matter expert freelancers to create our programs
  • Simulation: Conducting program quality tests to ensure materials created are fit for purpose
  • Build: Become a 'super user' of the Forage Program Editor tool to combine all program raw assets to generate the online virtual simulation
  • Launch: Managing program launches to meet timelines while both addressing client needs and achieving internal goals

  • Exceptional attention to detail and diligence in every task undertaken
  • Proven experience managing a variety of tasks in a fast-paced environment without compromising on quality
  • Proven experience managing complex projects and seeing them through to completion
  • Impeccable communication skills - verbal + written. Client management or service skills are important.
  • Strong organizational skills - time management and the ability to multi-task while consistently delivering results within deadlines
  • Willingness to take on new responsibilities and develop new skill sets both personally and across the function
  • A team player attitude who can alternate and feel fulfilled both by rolling up your sleeves to quickly accomplish day-to-day tasks and developing strategic ideas to move the function and company forward
  • Computer skills (e.g., GSuite) and a willingness to learn how to use new tools
  • A passion for changing the world of emerging talent and career development
  • Comfortable working in a globally dispersed team
