    Title: Clerk III, Records and Materials Archive

    Under general supervision, performs achival functions including gathering, maintaining, and organizing digital and physical records and materials related to the E-SPLOST program, E-SPLOST projects, and DCSD capital construction and improvements.

    Essential Functions:

    The following duties are representative of this position. The omission of specific statements of duties does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required and assigned.

    • Develops, arranges and describes archival collection in accordance with accepted standards and practices
    • Develops and implements procedures for the acquisition, processing, digitization, and preservation of archival materials
    • Advises on physical and digital infrastructure needed to effectively organize, maintain and retrieve physical and digital records
    • Creates finding aids using contemporary tools and ensures the quality of finding aids created by other staff
    • Gathers, organizes and maintains physical records and materials related to the E-SPLOST program, E-SPLOST projects and DCSD Facility construction and improvements
    • Gathers, organizes and maintains digital records and materials related to the E-SPLOST program, E-SPLOST projects, and DCSD facility construction and improvements
    • Retrieves archived materials and digital records as required
    • Participates in development and implementation of policies and standards for the archives
    • Performs other duties as assigned.



    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    • Associate degree preferred. High School Diploma required.
    • Minimum of one year of experience relevant to records and materials archiving, or related field is required.
