  • High School Diploma or GED, with business curriculum preferred and at least six months experience in Microsoft programs, including the use of Outlook & Excel; ability to accurately type and amend schedules. Knowledge of managed care criteria preferred .
  • Valid Drivers License required
  • Act 33/34, State Criminal and FBI Background Checks.
  • Pre-employment drug screen

Daylights Monday through Friday – 7:00am- 3:00pm or 8:00am-4:00pm.

ABOUT THE ROLE: The Support Specialist provides clerical support for the RTFA. Must have the ability to multi-task and should be versed in HIPAA confidentiality regulations . This position requires the performance of a variety of functions that involve independent judgment and the interpretation of policies and procedures. Any decisions beyond existing guidelines are referred to the immediate superior. Functional training of subordinate or lateral staff is an inherent responsibility of his position. RTFA supervisors oversee this position but assignments can/will also be provided by RTFA Clinical staff. The Residential Treatment Facility for Adults serves adults with mental illness who need more support following a psychiatric hospitalization. The RTFA assists these adults with building coping skills and providing support with discharge planning.
