We are looking for a talented Team Lead to join our team specializing in Box Building for our Cummins Recon Plant in North Charleston, South Carolina.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• In this job – associate will build cardboard boxes which are used to pack finished turbo.
• Under some supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse.
• Individual boxes are then arranged on pallets to ship to CTP.
• Associate will also work on prepping plastic returnable containers which are used to pack finished turbo as well.
• Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
• Coordinate with supervisor and other teams effectively.
• Work closely with other team members to maximize output of the shift.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
• Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
• Previous Team Lead experience.
• Prior material handling, packaging experience is beneficial.
• should be able to lift 35lbs and able to walk/stand for entire duration of the shift.
• should be able to work in 12hours fireman shift pattern.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
