Roll Off Truck Driver - CDL B

Job Duties:

· Arrive on time with proper PPE (Hard hat, vest, safety boots, safety glasses, gloves).

· Inspect all tools, equipment, and work areas before work begins.

· Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Brings problems to the attention of the Roll Off Manager or HR manager.

· Hauls & picks up roll off dumpsters to/from customer job sites, empties dumpster at appropriate disposal locations.

· Follows assigned daily schedules but able to adapt to changing circumstances.

· Some overtime is typical.

Qualifications:

· CDL with acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.

· Roll-off experience a plus.

· The selected candidate will be required to pass a background check and drug screening.

· Must be safety-conscience, dependable and team-minded.

· Ability to be badged for military base access a big plus.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

· Reliable transportation to and from the main office.

· Ability to communicate and follow directions with supervisors and crew members.

· Ability to understand and follow safety guidelines.

· Ability to work in adverse conditions to include rain, sleet, snow, dust, mud, heat, cold, noise and other conditions common to a construction site.

· Ability to work overtime hours, out of town work, overnight stays, night, weekends, and holidays.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Employees must meet DOT physical standards and provide a current medical certificate.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The position regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity, and exposure to dust and asphalt.

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:

Looking for full-time, nonexempt workers. Workdays and hours are Monday through Friday, Full-time position with available overtime

TRAVEL:

Travel is primarily local during the business day

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

• Commercial driving: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• CDL A (Preferred)
