A position as a CDL driving instructor allows you to use your driving skills and knowledge to help others, while giving you the benefit of a stable, consistent daily schedule. CC Training is currently hiring for a full-time Class A CDL driver/trainer to instruct new drivers in how to safely operate a commercial vehicle, and stay in compliance with industry regulations. This instructor position typically works a full-time day schedule, Monday through Thursday, and we encourage retired drivers to apply. We are industry leaders and believe that hard work can also be fun, and that knowing what time you will be done work for the day is important in your life. We are seeking instructors for our program in partnership with Delaware County Community College, which is currently delivered at their location in Media, PA.

CDL INSTRUCTOR REQUIREMENTS

As an instructor, you are not just providing direct instruction, you are setting the bar. You provide instruction with vehicle inspections, backing skills, on road driving and compliance. You model how to minimize safety hazards, communicate with customers/regulators, maintain hours of service, work efficiently, and properly inspect vehicles for safe operation.

You use your teaching, coaching, and mentoring skills as you ensure students are progressing toward becoming safe, professional commercial vehicle operators. You complete administrative tasks as you grade, track attendance and complete vehicle condition reports. You love teaching and helping students to achieve goals as they better themselves in this skilled trade!

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Class A CDL driver
• Possess a valid Class A CDL with current DOT medical card
