We are currently searching for a talented Civil Engineer* (E.I.)* to support our growing Southeast Region. These positions will be based in Tallahassee, Panama City Beach, Gulf Breeze, Maitland, Tampa, and Pensacola, FL.

The successful candidate will assist a team of Engineers, Planners, Scientists, and other Professional and Support staff on a variety of projects including Roadway design, Drainage design, Bridge design, and Engineering Studies.

What you’ll be doing:*

Collects and analyzes data for inclusion in Project Plans and reports

• Assists and prepares project plans using the latest CADD software including but not limited to Microstation, OpenRoads, and AutoCADD
• Contributes to the preparation and/or modification of engineering reports and calculations for a wide variety of projects
• Prepares and assists in the preparation of project construction quantities and cost estimates
• Prepare and assist in the preparation of project specifications
• Review project quantity estimates, details, and check calculations and drawings for compliance to project requirements
• Prepare and assist in the preparation of project schedules
• Performs other duties as assigned

What you need to have:*

Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering

• EIT (E.I) Certification is desired but not required
• A minimum of 2 years of experience
• Experience with MicroStation 3D modeling and other CADD production software is preferred

Preferred Experience:

• Previous internship/coop experience in transportation and municipal design
• Previous FDOT experience desired but not required
