Job Summary/Basic Function

Assist staff in the Circulation and Stacks Department, maintain the general and serve stack and may be asked to work in Teaching Materials collections.



Specific Responsibilities

Work Schedule
Work Schedule consists of the following shifts:
  • Closing at midnight Sunday through Thursday (Fall & Spring semesters)
  • Closing at 7PM Fridays
  • 12pm – 5pm Saturdays
  • Closing at 9 on summer nights

Job Duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain general and reserve stacks, re-shelve books, provide light maintenance to photocopiers, check books in and out, make Ready-To-Shelve carts, and answer inquiries. May also be required to work in Teaching Materials collections: answer inquiries, assist with audio/visual equipment, and maintain Teaching Materials Collections stacks. Must have good customer service skills, and be reliable and attentive to detail. Excellent communication skills required. Performs other duties as assigned.
